My work is an example of the creative possibilities within the functional ceramic arts. I originate work that has a objective in mind, a secondary reason to its unique art forms. My shapes come from taking advantage of the whimsical abilities that the clay has in its soft condition. Natural properties such as the use of earth, fire, glass and wood ash glazes are the foundations of my coloring schemes.
